Meet "Barkley"

This is Barkley, a 6 year-old Bernese Mountain Dog weighing in at 135 pounds.  He is not a very active dog, and is unusually shy around strangers. He is very loyal to his owner and is by his side whenever possible.  His unique tri-color markings and soft, silky coat gets him plenty of attention wherever I take him.

His favorite activity seems to be eating!

Our thanks to

Bob Burke

for sharing these

great photos!

Honey, a Star of Our Gallery for some time,

Would Like To Introduce Annie & Kratos

Annie is an adorable 10 year-old cat, and is also from a rescue in NYC.  She's quite sassy and she loves to "talk".  Annie loves sitting on the window sill peering out at the garden.  She is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give!

"Kratos"

"Kratos" and "Honey" (at right)

in their Halloween Costumes

Kratos is a happy 11 month-old pitbull from NYC.  He was rescued from an animal cruelty case and is now a part of our family!!  He's a sweet boy who loves to run, dig, and play with ropes (or socks!).  Kratos loves his "sisters" Honey and Annie.  He's posing in his picture as a cow, which is what he was for Halloween.  Honey is the mailman!

(Look below for more pics of Honey)

Our thanks once again to Kate Huczko and Stephen Horocofsky for these great photos

of Honey's new "brother" and her cat "sister"!

Here is Apollo, who is about 2.5 years old.  He is very kind, very sweet, and quite exuberant.  Apollo loves other dogs and other people.

Our thanks to Robert L. Lamberson for sharing this sweet picture!

Honey is a 2 1/2 year old pitbull who we welcomed into our lives in September of 2008.  We adopted Honey from In Our Hands Rescue in NYC.  She loves to play with her rope toy and tennis ball, especially in the snow!  She loves people and enjoys being our shadow ha - ha!  Honey also thinks she's a lap dog and LOVES to snuggle!!

Our thanks to proud Parents: Kate Huczko and Stephen Horocofsky for these wonderful photos!

Here are the 3 Debevec dogs at Christmas!  Libby is our 6 month old black Labrodoodle (more Lab than Doodle); Chewie, is a 2 year old Chessie, and was our guest for six months while our son (Lt Jake-USAF) was in Iraq.

Charlie is my other son's 6 year old Chocolate Lab.

Our thanks to Chuck Debevec for these terrific photos!

Here's a beautiful bull mastiff named "Neko" who is a patient of Media Veterinary Hospital.

Some people might not say he's "too cute for words", but he is unique nonetheless.

Our thanks to Terry Bouvier for these terrific photos!

Here are a couple of happy patients of Media Veterinary Hospital.  We got Buster first a few years ago and then adopted Betsy a year ago.  Both Buster and Betsy were adopted at different shelters.

This is Buster and there's Betsy looking out the door.

Our thanks to our own Deb Heisler, for sharing these great pictures!

Stretch is about 6 months old and such a beauty of a long haired domestic black & white cat. I adopted him from a Cat Rescue in Aston.  Zoë is only about 5 months old and I adopted her from Delaware County SPCA. She has really pretty tan markings in with her gray hair.

Zoë particularly is into everything right now and a bit rebellious.  Stretch is a laid-back sweetie.  They go from chasing and fighting each other to cleaning each other behind the ears.  In this shot, I had moved a ladder under a light where a ladybug was flying around so that I could catch her and set her free.  The kittens were mesmerized but the ladybug &  I think this shot is cute enough for Hallmark!

Our thanks to Christine Johnston for this great picture of Stretch and Zoe

This is Ginger, our wonderful shelter rescued dog. We couldn't understand why such a magnificent dog ended up at the pound. Then we discovered we should have named her Houdini--she's an escape artist!

We're so grateful she's micro-chipped since she has learned how to jump every fence we've tried to keep her safe. If the unthinkable happens and she gets away, it's a tremendous comfort to know that she's chipped!

Our thanks to Ginger's family for these great pictures!

Here's "Mittens", a 2 1/2 year old Cat, who visits Dr. Maria Peters at Media Veterinary Hospital.  Mittens is practicing her powers of concentration as she balances on the arm of the family sofa!

Our thanks to Lori Wexler for this terrific picture!

Meet "Zena" the newest addition to the Samuelian family who was adopted last December.  Zena is a 6 lb Pomeranian who is now Nipper's "sister".  Media Veterinary Hospital gave her a clean bill of health and she is now a happy member of our family.  Zena is here resting after long hours on the phone.  She had to tell everyone where she is living now.

"Did someone say "Biscuit"?

Here's Zena with "Nipper" her new sister!

Nipper asks,

"It's bad enough I have to share with this new comer . . .

Do I have to wear this silly hat!"

Our thanks to Anna and Sam Samuelian for these great photos!

Here are three of the most beautiful Beagles in the world who belong to our very own

Lori Cavanagh who is a Receptionist & Kennel worker here at Media Veterinary Hospital.

All three of the adorable "kids" were adopted.  Snoopy is the first Beagle Lori adopted

and he is 4 1/2 years old.  Rusty was next and he is 5 1/2 years old.  Last but not least, was

Mandi, who is only 2 1/2 years old.

We thank Lori for these wonderful pictures of her "kids"!

In appreciation for the care that Media Veterinary Hospital has given

our dogs over the past 22 years, here's a special "THANKS" from all our "kids",

"Jenny", "Charlie", "Tripper", "Tucker", "Red", "Sophie" and "Clancy"!

Our thanks to Peter & Susie Brooks for this beautiful collage!

My name's "Nipper" and I go to Media Veterinary Hospital for all my health care needs.

I love to entertain.  Generally I sing . . .classical music or "Long Hair" if you prefer!  I'm particularly fond of singing arias by Puccini.

When I'm not busy performing, I like to just get out and about.

I especially enjoy traveling by car, but I let the humans do the driving!

Our thanks to Anna Samuelian for these great photos!

Here's "Buster" all dressed up and somewhere to go.  Buster is definitely a fashion trend setter!
